The home in which we wished to live...

We do not need an architect or a designer. We do not need a house... We need a home. It is small and simple with its peaked roof. We need the harmonious whole of 'land, man, dwelling'. We need sky and ground. My daughter build our dream on a board.

Mom and Childhood

This was drawn by my daughter. I would love to introduce everybody in her drawing. At the left side, from left to right, Bayan Gri (an elephant, a friend of us, wife of Bay Gri and daughter of Irmak), Irmak (my daughter, daughter of Murat, mom of Bayan Gri), Murat (my husband, dad of Irmak), Pamuk (a sheep, a friend of us), Bay Gri (an elephant, a friend of us, husband of Bayan Gri) and at the left side, it is me (wife of Murat, mom of Irmak, grandmom of Bayan Gri, Nilüş of Murat and Irmak). Irmak sleeps with Pamuk, Bay Gri and Bayan Gri. They live in our home in peace. All of them are friends of Irmak and also us... Do you see me? I am really big. I am bigger than everything, even than that smiling sun. I am very important in the environment which Irmak represented .

So I strikingly understand that mom is the main figure in the childhood environment...
